Upcoming Change in Condominium Management

Dear Red Haus residents and titled owners:

On behalf of your Board of Directors, I am writing to inform you about a change in condo management at the end of this calendar year.

Beginning January 1, 2024, Red Haus Condominium Corporation will transition from Simco Management (Calgary) Inc. to an onsite management team comprising a General Manager, Site Supervisor (Troy Paquette) and accountant. It’s the status quo without the greater matrix of a condominium management company.

This management structure is known as “self-directed,” which is gaining popularity among multi-residential complexes. Property vendors and contractors remain unchanged. Your Board of Directors has extensively researched self-directed management, learning from other self-directed properties, their best practices, and the operational benefits this management structure affords properties like ours.  

Throughout the transition process, we will ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities with the support and involvement of our current condominium manager, Carl Jolliffe.

We understand that change can sometimes be challenging, but we are confident and optimistic that this move will provide a property of our size and needs with the services and resources it warrants.
